As we twist and wind our way along the spectacular Great Ocean Road, you’ll enjoy loads of great coastal photo opportunities. We’ll even stop to cuddle wild koalas! We reach the seaside town of Apollo Bay and there’s time for a swim in the magnificent Southern Ocean. After lunch (at own expense), stretch your legs in the Otway National Park as we explore an ancient rainforest with some of the world’s tallest trees. |
Next, we travel
through rolling hills to Port
Campbell National Park to
the giant rock stacks of the
12 Apostles. There’s many
tragic tales of shipwrecks
at Loch Ard Gorge, with its
remarkable rock formations.
Check out the now collapsed
London Bridge and the
quaint fishing village of
Port Campbell. Turning
back towards Melbourne,
you’ll have a day packed
full of nature, wildlife, surf
and spectacular coast to
reflect on. We’ll stop in the
township of Colac for dinner
(own expense). BRING Sturdy walking shoes, hat & sunscreen, bathers/towel, water bottle, warm clothing, camera & film, money for lunch & dinner.
