Sovereign Hill - Visitors Services
![]() |
Sovereign Hill is a recreated goldfields township representing life in Ballarat during the 1850s. However, their customer service is focused very much on the 21st century.
Their 25-hectare site offers a range of visitor facilities for everyone and includes facilities for visitors with special needs. They have several parenting rooms, disability toilets, two automatic teller machines, a playground, drinking fountains, barbeques, a working Post Office, film supplies, wheelchairs free-of-charge and a hire service for strollers.
Sovereign Hill provides a range of foreign language maps that are available in their Entrance. They have also implemented a foreign language service for their evening sound-and-light show, Blood on the Southern Cross.
