The attractions at Mount Buffalo are abundant with so many things to entice everyone of all ages. You can also indulge yourself with a romantic picnic getaway that will be completely planned out for you by staff, and with 31,000 hectares of pristine National Park at your disposal, you are sure to find somewhere perfect to cosy up with a loved one.

Mount Buffalo has a long and colourful history dating back to the day of Hume and Hovell and the area is rich with history for visitors to discover. Mount Buffalo has a strong sense of history with the Chalet only being a short drive from the historic townships of Bright, Beechworth, and Yackandandah which are all well worth a visit where you will find great little restaurants, antique shops, and quaint little produce stores and a warm country feel.

Mount Buffalo is just a short drive from Melbourne being only four hours away you can fly into Melbourne from any major city within Australia and simply drive or travel by coach. Make your way along the Hume Highway and the Great Alpine Road to Mount Buffalo or book yourself a seat on one of the bus services that run routes out to the Mountain. You also have to option of flying to Melbourne and connecting with a flight to Albury which is just 1 and a half hour drive from Mount Buffalo.
