Hotham Day Care is an indoor childcare centre located at the Big D: Children's Snowzone. Licensed to cater for up to 30 children aged between 3 months and 5 years, Hotham Day Care is renowned for it's specialised and professional care; providing qualified and experienced staff that strive to meet each child's individual needs. Hotham Day Care offers 3 fun-filled Playrooms along with a serperate family room for breast feeding mothers, and fully catered sleep opportunities.

Full Day - 8am to 5pm Half Day - 8am to 12:15pm or 12:45pm to 5pm

(Hourly Care - Hourly care is offered when there is availability on that day; hourly care cannot be prebooked.

Introduction to Ski Programs: From $186 per child for one day
(subject to availability) includes ski equipment; transition; lessons; all meals - snacks & lunch.

Progam 1: Full day "Day Care" with 1 hour private lesson (2 years up)
Program 2: Morning session "Kids Snowzone," afternoon session "Day Care" (3 years up)

To secure a place, it is essential to pre-book in advance. Full payment must be recieved within 7 days prior to attending care, or can be made upon booking. A $50 deposit per child per day is required and will be held as a booking deposit which will secure your child's place. If you plan to arrive later than 9:30am daily you must contact Hotham Day Care directly or you will forfeit your place and deposit.

Illness: Children showing any one or more of the illness related symptoms will be discouraged from attending the service, and a medical certificate stating that the child is free from a contagious illness may be requested before the child may return to care.

All allergies, medication, illnesses and other specific needs MUST be recorded upon enrolment and verbally notified to the child's primary carer (or the Day Care supervisor/manager)

Checking in/out: An enrolment form and daily routine sheet must be completed before children can be left in care. This is to ensure the child's individual needs are met: sleep requirements, comforters, allergies, likes/dislikes, ect.

Children may only leave the Centre with the designated parent/s or guardian/s as stipulated on the child's enrolment form and the Attendance Record Sheet.

All medications & food items must be removed from the child's bag: These item's must then be reported to the child's primary carer; labelled and recorded in the appropriate folders.

What to Bring:
  • A labelled bag with at least one spare change of clothes: pants, underwear, socks, singlet, skivvies and a jumper. Additional changes may be necessary for children who are toilet training;
  • Labelled disposable nappies and bottom wipes - at least 5 for children enrolled for a full day;
  • Labelled bottles for children on formula or expressed breast milk. A labelled empty bottle can be supplied for children on dairy or Soya milk;
  • Labelled comfort item's such as teddies, dummies and blankets.

Note: It is the parent's responsibility to ensure that all items are collected at the end of the day.
