Mount Buffalo is located just four hours from Melbourne making this destination very accessible for everyone wanting to enjoy the snow season. From any of the cities in Australia you can fly directly into Melbourne and from here you can catch a bus or drive to Mount Buffalo. There are coach companies that run regular service runs up the mountain to Mount Buffalo which will drop you directly out the front of your accommodation for you convenience. But if you would prefer to take you own means of transportation that drive along the Hume Highway and up the Great Alpine Road until you get to Mount Buffalo. You must not forget to take you snow chains and fit them to your car when directed.
