Enjoy a guided tour of the Ballarat Wildlife Park, located in a native bushland setting. You will be greeted by ‘Patrick the Wombat’. See Tasmanian Devils and free-roaming emus. You’ll have the opportunity to touch and photograph a cuddly koala! You can hand-feed kangaroos. See an amazing crocodile along with other reptiles including snakes, goannas and giant lizards. Stroll through the craft and souvenir shops and enjoy a meal in the delightful café (own expense). Later visit Sovereign Hill for an exciting gold rush experience (same as K13). Pan for gold or go down into the mine. Visit the Chinese Village, which highlights the contribution of Chinese people who worked in the goldfields. Explore the Gold Museum and see a re-creation of the Eureka Stockade. Stroll along historic Main Street with its shops, working artisans and traditional craftsmen. |
