Travel east of the city to the beautiful Dandenong Ranges, through lovely rainforest scenery. Stop at Grant’s Reserve and enjoy Devonshire Tea, hot scones with jam and cream and your choice of tea or coffee. You’ll have the opportunity to hand feed crimson rosella birds and sulfur-crested cockatoos. Admire huge mountain ash trees and see lush fern-filled gullies. You may even see kookaburras and hear bellbirds. Travel aboard Australia’s oldest operating steam train, Puffing Billy, where you’ll ride through the rainforest scenery on the train from Belgrave. Pass through quaint villages noted for their beautiful traditional gardens. Stop at Sassafras, a quaint little town in the Dandenong Hills. Visit the craft, antique, toy and book stores and plant nursery. This will be a morning to remember! |

Enjoy a guided tour of one of Australia’s most famous wildlife parks, Healesville Wildlife Sanctuary, home to over 200 species of Australian birds, mammals and reptiles, all in a natural bushland setting.
